I had an appointment at this Medical Centre this morning. I was seen promptly. The lady on Reception was extremely helpful with advice regarding vaccines for overseas travel and sent me a link to complete a form requesting a Drs appointment. I received a response and advice within the hour.
I’m leaving this practice today. This is one of the worst GP practice. SHP is really rubbish, can’t get appointments, have to wait for a month for an urgent appointment. Receptionists are useless. GP don’t seem to care. I wish I could rate it 0
Woke up to travel 45 mins to my mums to call the drs at 8am to help her get a much needed appointment. It’s now 8.15am and I have been calling back on repeat. They won’t even put you into a Que to wait to speak to someone .. the phone simply says lines are busy and hangs up. Extremely poor care and service. Update: I eventually got through at 9.06am (it stopped hanging up on me at about 9.45am) and was told there was no appointments. I started at 8.01am .. how DOES one speak to a doctor in England nowadays?
Have a few problems now can't get through on phone, don't have time sitting on phone all day. Have now tried to use this NHS online form keep having problems. Just switched off when typing info into it. Waiting 6 months for arm injury on waiting list as hospital medic said I couldn't be seen by doctor. Might as well wait until September till appointment at QE hospital. After months of waiting then will be told nothing can be done.was better service when just going to your own local GP before joining with Solihull healthcare partnership.
Reception staff were very friendly and polite had to see a nurse who was very caring
