Unsure how you get an appointment across any surgery that is in partnership with Solihull healthcare partnership. You ring up dead on 0800am and you are faced with an automated line saying “lines are busy please try again later” and it hangs up. Unable to get an appointment. This is the reason why hospitals are struggling because 90% of people that attend A&E could have been dealt with in primary care prior to their condition getting serious.
Feel sorry for the people that call up with cancer symptoms wanting a GP appt but can’t get through - the only way I now get a GP appt is paying for one privately which costs £200. Solihull healthcare partnership needs scrapping altogether

Awful service. I have been trying to get an appointment since February for result of an Ultra sound and to speak to the doctor about a back injury which has me in extreme pain. Since February they have continuously said we haven't got any appointments, go to the hospital emergency unit and they have been saying that for 3 months so today I threw my toys out the pram and insisted on an appointment. Got one but have got to wait 2 weeks so 3 months of trying to get an appointment had turned into 4 months. No wonder the hospitals are under so much pressure if GP’s insist on sending patients to their emergency units. Disgraceful 😡😡

Join the practice two years ago when moving to Dickens Heath. Simply cannot get an appointment. No matter what I do. Phoned up waited almost an hour to get through to somebody who then said all our appointments are gone. Done this several times then given up. Advise to try the online consult service, couldn’t get through on that either. Absolutely impossible to get an appointment. No consideration of working people who cannot spend two hours on the phone just trying to get an appointment.

Not long transferred to this surgery after being with another for over 8 years. All I can say is absolutely useless! Called to book in for an appointment for multiple things and just passed on to 111 even after being told I need to speak to a doctor.
I asked to make an appointment for a later date and she had none today - just so I could be organised and they told me they don’t have any and nothing they can do - call back another time.
To say I never had this when I was at my other practice, actually gobsmacked considering the overhype about Solihull and dickensheath healthcare.
I’m not one for wasting the healthcare services time either as I know they have better things to do then give tablets for sniffles. This though is a monstrosity. Really really disappointed.
P.s The receptionist was as helpful as a glass hammer.
