I have been with this surgery since April 2025 and have nothing but admiration for the staff and Dr's. They are kind, professional, and will always make the time to understand ny situation. I've spoken with Fatima on reception many times and she goes above and beyond in terms of getting appointments booked quickly and is always kind, caring and professional. Today I met with Dr Hussain and I can honestly say I have never met such a warm, friendly Dr. I explained all my issues spanning over 10 years. She advised me in regards to the help that I can get for my mental health. She went above and beyond in making me feel comfortable amd showed how caring she is. The Dr actually made me smile today, something I have not done for a while. I am confident that I can rely on my Dr surgery for my physical and mental health going forwards. Booked an appointment at the surgery for same day visit and the staff were great..My appointment was with Sheena who was very professional and attentive. Listened to all my questions/concerns and communicated with me effectively ensuring I understood everything we discussed. I was provided with relevant solutions which in turn have improved my health. Absolutely appalling service from this surgery. Three different reception staff have failed to process an urgent hospital referral, even though A&E passed on all the information to them almost two months ago. Every time I call or go in to chase it up, they ask who I spoke to and act completely unaware of the situation. Instead of checking my notes — where it clearly states I’m a high-risk patient — they make excuses and ask unnecessary questions about who told me I needed a referral. It’s written in black and white, yet they can’t be bothered to read or act on it. I was later told I’d been booked in for a telephone appointment with a GP the next day, but after waiting all morning, no one called. When I rang back to find out what happened, I was told there was no appointment booked at all and no explanation for why. This practice is a complete shambles — no communication, no accountability, and the staff never seem to know what’s going on. You can’t even get a same-day appointment through the online triage; the earliest availability is usually around three weeks away. As a high-risk patient, this lack of care and organisation is unacceptable and deeply concerning.
I have been a patient here since 2009, never had an issue getting an appointment, drs and staff are always friendly and helpful. I like the new online booking system, it's more convenient for those at work during the normal booking hours.
Recently I was offered a walk in flu injection and, it was anything but, walk in. I waited for almost an hour watching people come, and go with me sitting there patiently waiting and, wondering what happened to the so called walk in flu injection. In the end, walk in became walk out. I asked the receptionist about the waiting time for the flu injection and, she just shrugged her shoulders. Therefore I cancelled and, walked out the practice. Compared to my last Medical practice, this medical centre is inefficient.
