Visited earlier today with my family and had a wonderful time. Service was great, lovely decor and very homely. Tables arent crammed together like alot of cafes which is a nice change.
Would highly recommend.

Lovely friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious.. Mustard mushrooms on sourdough.. Good job I’m not a local as I’d be in far too many times.

English breakfast was really good, looked and tasted like it was made from high quality fresh ingredients. The mushrooms helped balance the meal.
I suspect they've taken feedback from other reviews as my meal wasn't too greasy or oily, it was a good balance.
Only downside was the flat white, it wasn't strong enough compared to what I'd get in Australia, but that seems to be an across the board cultural difference on coffee between the UK and AU so can't mark them down for that.
I'm interested in returning to try their crossover breakfast as it appears to be a mix of an English and vegetarian breakfast that sounds really nice.

Ordered a jacket potato to take away. Very simple order. Cheese and beans with no salad. Paid £7.20. Potatoes are from the fridge so was most likely microwaved. They left off cheese and added the salad. Terrible.

Absolutely Brilliant! Love that it’s an independent business. Dog Friendly!! We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. The service staff were so friendly and helpful. Never felt rushed. I would definitely recommend booking in advance if you can. The food is very nice. I had the mushrooms brunch w/ side of bacon. Absolutely worth it. It had spinach and crispy kale or something because it was amazing!! It was topped with Parmesan. Let’s not glaze over the French toast. It might not look like much to the untrained eye but don’t let yourself be mistaken; cause oh my goodness me is it tasty. I’m sure it has a cinnamon sugar crunch that just makes it. My husband really enjoyed his Full Breakfast. Everything is made fresh to order even the delicious orange juice. I would 10/10 recommended coming here.
