We can’t thank the team enough for everything they did to help us host my dad’s wake here. From start to finish, they were thoughtful, accommodating, and incredibly supportive, which made a difficult day feel that much easier.
The food was absolutely delicious and very generous — so much so that several guests commented on how good it was. Nothing felt rushed, and every detail was handled with care.
We really appreciated how flexible and understanding the staff were in helping us organise the function exactly as we wished. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this pub and its function room to anyone looking to host a special occasion.

We visited here today and had the lovely Ethan serve us, the service was definitely the standout point of our evening. Ethan answered all of our questions, was very patient, understanding and attentive throughout the evening making sure everything was right and answering any questions we had! I don’t think that the service could have been any better. The food was quick and hot, without waiting ages between courses. There was a good selection of foods on the menu which was helpful when going with a group of people. This was my first time visiting and I would recommend it to other people particularly because of how good the service from Ethan was, who I would highly recommend. Ethan is such an asset to you and really does make a good experience and I hope there is some appreciation for that. Thankyou for a lovely night.

Reception on check in, lady was very polite and explained everything in detail as this was my first time at this establishment.
Room was warm, cosy, clean perfect.
Evening meal, Garan & Emma, you would want these lovely people at your work place for customer ease and satisfaction, polite helpfull and very welcoming. Well be back again.

I stayed here and enjoyed the decent sized room and the convenient car parking. I ate an evening meal in the pub which was very tasty, and I was served very well by Emma who was very attentive and was keen to check everything was ok throughout. Overall, a great experience.

We always enjoy our time with friends at the Greswolde. Excellent service and food.
On our last visit we were advised to get the Green King App to get offers. An excellent offer of £20 for 2 mains until 30th January was sent to me via email. On arrival on the 23rd May I explained I had a customer code for this offer . I was told I could not use it as it had been taken over by their Burns night offer . A little embarrassing as I had invited friends to join us for this excellent offer!!!
Fortunately , we asked again about the offer and our waitress Bing made it clear that my loyalty code would be honoured. Bing provided excellent service, and despite being busy she added fun and humour to our excellent lunch.
The Greswolde Arms remains a firm favourite . Thank you Bing .
