My family and I were let down by our previous dental surgery and have found the dental team at 606 Dental to be a fantastic improvement! They are welcoming and informative; qualities which were lacking in our previous surgery. I would highly recommend them if you’re looking for a positive change.
Leaving this review several months after the events as I cannot accept how badly I’ve been treated. Firstly I often found it difficult to reach the practice by phone - they just won’t answer. I attended an appointment with a small baby. Waited patiently, and an hour after my appointment should have been, was informed someone had marked me as having left so all dentists had gone on lunch break! They tried very hard to get me to wait another hour, or go away and come back another day, but this would have been incredibly difficult with baby. Dentist reluctantly came from break but was clearly angry about it. I was seen 1hr 15min after my appointment time. Dentist said he saw me waiting earlier - why he didn’t check his list/who I was, I do not understand. He had to take impressions for me, and did it with so much force, I had bruises along my gums the next day. I regret not reporting him for this. When I returned to pick up my mouth guard, it required some adjustments. He was very rude and tried to gaslight me, telling me a malocclusion with mouthguard is how it ‘works’. When challenged politely, he aggressively said, verbatim, ‘well I don’t understand what more you want’. I have never encountered such a rude, dismissive and disrespectful healthcare professional. Given he’s the director for the surgery, I chose to move dentists rather than complain. If you’re here having been mistreated, I’m sorry. If you’re considering using their services, please think again.
As a new patient with 606 I found them to be super friendly and very communicative . I am usually quite a nervous nelly at the dentist but I found my first experience with them really relaxing and an very positive!
My elderly father had an appointment on 2nd NHS patient appointment and the Dentist Talvar was again very rude, insulting and almost shouting on my very old father. We felt to be in the car garage. To be noted they have changed the name of this surgery because of 90% bad reviews because of the insulting attitude of this surgery. I also noticed they serve patient on the basis of community and adjust manners accordingly or do not get enough money from NHS patient. Event hough my father was desperate to get the treatment but we preferred to go to the respectable surgery. 6 people left this so called surgery.
One word WOW! Cannot recommend this practice enough. After having treatment and no confidence in my previous dentist. I was reluctant to have any treatment done. But from being greeted by Daisy at reception with a big smile and answering all my questions and worries. I felt at ease. I was called into the room where Aakash and Amina treated me. Aakash explained all what he was going to do regards my treatment and made me feel so comfortable and calm. Best dentist ever!! Amina was so helpful and supportive throughout my time there. I cannot thank you all enough for making my first experience at the practice a memorable one! Can’t wait for my next appointment!
