The GP lady receptionist was unprofessional and appeared discriminatory. They asked about my ethnicity without explaining why it was relevant.
On 3 close occasions was diagnosed by the standard doctor there (who already seems to have a reputation) that both my children were fine when they actually ended up in hospital on oxygen and feeding tubes. They are 20 months and 6 month babies.
Absolutely disgusting service from a Dr Palmer at this practice. I have had to raise an official complaint and the lady even put the phone down on me when I was mid sentence. She has twice blocked me from getting the care and medication I need, even after surgery that caused problems. Her attitude was awful, speaking down to me like a little child. I then made the complaint and then had to wait a whole week for emergency medications I needed post surgery which I needed asap to avoid the issue getting worse. I am so disappointed with this surgery not only based on this occasion. It’s a shame because the reception ladies are lovely. I’d hate to be associated with this doctors with the way they treat patients and how they operate. I don’t take kindly to Dr Palmers Narcissism. It has made me feel really untrusting with their expertise and services. I do not recommend this surgery. Also dealing with the office manager, rather than apologising for my experience, he just wanted to defend the Dr and her behaviour. Not professional or caring at all.
I have moved myself and family from this surgery but wish l had done it sooner. I completely agree with the reviews referring to Dr Gabriel and his abilities as a doctor. I would not want anyone else to go through what l have. I was told for quite some time l had irritable bowel syndrome which was eventually diagnosed as ovarian cancer. I was examined at the surgery by a student in the presence of Dr Gabriel and it was the student who identified the mass. Ultimately I had to have a 6 hour operation, followed by 6 months of chemo. I would not want any person to go through what l have and continue to have to deal with. Also on a less serious matter how can he justify telling my then 22 year old daughter that her period problems would be sorted once she had a baby!
The worst surgery & receptionists. Called 2 days before to order meds, as my meds are on repeat & shouldn't have to anyway, she said she will get my prescription signed off & sent off to the pharmacy. She didn't do it, she said she forgot. No pharmacy was open i had no medication, it was time to take my meds, im an epileptic, now because of these consistent mistakes im always at risk of having seizures with this surgery. If this happens to you, firstly report it to the manager mark & then sue them for medical negligence. Simple as that. Looking at the other reviews, its all the same. Not suprised. This surgery gives hallgreen a bad name.
