I tried Box Trees Indian for the first time this evening ordering a takeaway. Arriving to collect it was hard to find however as it’s along a very dark track - I want sure Apple Maps was correct - BUT IT WAS !!
The restaurant is cozy with a bar and tables overlooking a beautiful terrace.
I was welcomed by Abdul who told me the history of the restaurant being open around 6 years.
Having received the food and left I arrived home to hopefully enjoy with my wife the chicken and spinach balti x2, rice, naan.
The curry was really fresh, the chicken lovely and flavour absolutely delicious.
I’m a huge fan of Indian food and loyal once I find a nice restaurant. Having recently moved nearby I needed to find one that hits the mark.
This place has this evening - I will now be a regular.
Look forward to the summer and enjoying curry outside on the terrace with a nice cold Cobra.

Went for the first time this weekend, food was really good, beer was good and atmousphere was actually pretty good! Would recommend it especially so close to motorway connections at Jnc4 of M42

I am so picky when it comes to food, and there's nothing worse than rubbery meat, but today I ordered from here and my gosh it was the NICEST takeaway I've had in a very long time. The lamb passanda was incredible, chicken tikka amazing with such succulent meat. Genuinely five stars all round it was an insane Indian!! 😍😍😍

3x of us called in on a Sunday night after breaking down an NEC show.
Having been let down by VEEZU the Uber got us there at 21-00 and Box-Trees could not have done more for us.
There was no rush, no hurry up, just good food, beer and wine.
As we couldn't decide, they offered to make us a mixed starter which was supurbly cooked and presented then left us untill we were ready to order mains, I can reccomend the Garlic Chilli Chicken.
As a homarge to a missing colleague I asked and they offered to make us a portion of cheesy chips and a sag bahgee, neither item on the menu.
Well done, we'll see you next the next NEC show we attend.

A solid 3.5, but there is no ambience and found it to be really pricey.
We came in early on a Friday and the place was empty. The heaters were all off and the restaurant was quite cold Inside, we even had to wear our jackets for a while.
There is little to no ambience, though the tablets are nicely set, there are makeshift walls or curtains blocking certain areas of the restaurant.
The menu is extensive and had a lot of options, veggie and non veggie but it was REALLY pricey for what it was.
We got two starters and they were both very small for £5 each, the main courses didn't come with Naan or rice, and each rice portion is super tiny for almost £3.5 . My Indian relatives would be in revolt if they ever saw the little amount of rice for that much.
The food was nicely seasoned, though I missed some fresh coriander or lime. The service was extremely friendly and the highlight of the visit but with these prices I would not recommend it. There are many other options out there with a MUCH better value.
