April 2026. I have been trying to see a doctor for months now and sll I get all of the time is a nurse. I even put on the triage form that I want to see a doctor. I dont know when I last saw a doctor. It's an absolute farce June 2025 Both Mom and i saw Dr Haiada today and it was so refreshing to have a doctor who would spend time with you and listen to your problems even if they were more than one but interrelated. She was brilliant. Unlike Dr Malik, who is far to abrupt, and has no empathy and doesn't want to take time to see the whole picture. It would have scored 5 but the practice refused to send out a doctor to see my mom the day before when the ambulance crew requested it and that was after 30 minutes or more of the practice not answering the non-public phone.
I've recently moved back to the West Midlands and am really impressed with the service I've received so far from this practice. Colleagues on reception are responsive, helpful and clear - both in verbal and written communications - and the two GPs I've spoken to have provided a first class customer service - where you feel listened to, informed and reassured. It feels like a really well-run and caring service - there's a professionalism and warmth that I've experienced in my dealings to date that has made me feel really pleased to have chosen this surgery. So pleased that I've even written a Google review.
The way Dr Malik is in practice is excellent. He is not hesitant to ask a parent to let a child advocate for themselves which is key to safeguarding and promoting a child’s power through their voice. He also took time to hold my baby, and just show me his caring nature to children. He was so quick to telephone and book us in. I didn’t feel “fobbed off” with poor advice. He gave us quality medical treatment and medicine. Thank you! On another note, the staff here are hit and miss. I have been here 5 years. They’re working and developing the service and some thing’s genuinely aren’t their fault. The whole NHS system is struggling and they’re all working with what they have. Some staff are burnt out, and that doesn’t excuse deliberate neglect (maternity staff, I’m talking to you). My advice… if you can’t get through the phones, go in. Can’t go in but still important, call 111. Have your whits about you, know your rights, wishes and feelings and voice them. Something doesn’t feel right, get a second opinion.
Basically you can’t get worst level of service than they provide. I am currently in process of complaint and really would request the GP surgery to be banned. They have no standard and no care for patients. Absolutely no care for patients. The receptionists are from some other world, they have so much attitude for no good reason. They treat people like animals and feel they are justified to do whatever they like. This practice especially reception staff has used Covid as an excuse to reduce their work. They don’t interact even at 50 meters forget about 2 meter. Avoid them at all cost and make sure to make complaints externally every time.
I have a 10 month old baby under this the surgery who is in severe pain and very unwell, and have made 30calls plus in the last 24 hours and haven't even been able to make it to the call queue! I have been in touch with the health visitor as I am at a total loss of what to do, and hoping she is able to come back with something! Do not use this surgery, from the reception right through to the vast majority of the doctors is just completely useless. Not fit for purpose.
