Sorrento Lounge in Moseley is a really nice Lounge. I visited here for brunch during a trip to Birmingham, as it’s only a short bus ride away from the city centre. I really like the look and feel of this Lounge, it’s bright, colourful, and so open and welcoming, the outside is also nice with the greenery and seating area. Gluten-Free Menus can be found on the table with an extensive selection, which you’d expect from the Lounges chain, including a variety of dishes such as brunch, burgers, tapas, curries and fried chicken. Orders are taken by a manager at the bar and food is clearly marked with an allergen flag for peace of mind. I went for the Gluten-Free Lounge Breakfast. I customised this, adding an extra egg, swapping the bacon for an extra sausage, and asking for poached eggs instead of fried. My brunch was customised correctly, it looked really good too, you can tell they paid extra care and attention to the presentation as well as the quality. My only issue with the food was that the beans could have been slightly hotter, but I get it’s hard to make so many individual items, and everything still tasted good. The staff were friendly, and the service and the food came out in good time. For my drink, I went for an Iced French Vanilla Latte, which was also really good. Certainly one of the strongest Lounges I’ve visited so far on my journey to visit as many sites as I can to fill out my Lounge Passport, I even got a gold sticker too, and I look forward to returning on future trips to the West Midlands!
I popped in to grab a quick lunch before my night shift and was not disappointed. The staff were helpful, polite and efficient. My food was delivered in great time, was hot and tasted devine. There was a really lovely buzz about the place with some music in the background too. It was nice to see that dogs are welcome as well as humans and babies too. A great mix of demographic. The only downside to my visit...... I had not left even time to enjoy more of all of this. The staff were extremely helpful when I asked to take half of my burger to work with me, popped it in a box, in a bag and with some serviettes too. See you all again soon.
Very cosy space with unique decor. Ordered the tuna melt with fries and a mocha. Both were tasty and warm.
We went on Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat after a long walk. It was the perfect place to sit down, relax and enjoy good company. The woman who served us was fantastic, she had a really nice vibe and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Food was delicious, good quality food. Love the water section, including a water dispenser for dogs. Decor is great. All in all a great experience.
Sorrento Lounge is a hidden gem that effortlessly combines sophistication with a laid-back vibe. It was a busy Saturday early afternoon when we arrived. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of without being overbearing. The lounge offers an array of food which cater different people with dietary requirements. Kudos to the chefs, the food was exceptional. Overall, Sorrento Lounge offers a perfect blend of great food and an atmosphere that encourages relaxation and conversation. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back for more!
