Had such a lovely Sunday brunch at Skogens ☀️ The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—perfect for a relaxed catch-up. I had the avo smash made by Katie, and wow… absolutely gorgeous 🥑✨ Paired it with a coffee made by Miles, which was spot on. Big shoutout as well to Yuvi for the fab service—friendly, attentive, and really made the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!
Feedback on Recent Visit – Unprofessional Interaction with Staff Member , I am writing to provide feedback about my visit to your establishment today, 07/03/2026. I entered your café with my small, well-behaved dog for a coffee. Before I had even had the chance to sit down or place my order, a woman approached me in an aggressive manner, shouting about my dog having briefly interacted with me a gentle cuddle). She identified herself as a manager. I calmly explained that my dog was simply being affectionate, remained on the floor the entire time, and posed no issue. Her tone was highly confrontational and unprofessional; she stated that if I did not like it, I could leave. At that point, my coffee had not yet been prepared, and the interaction significantly disrupted what should have been a pleasant experience. This encounter left me feeling unwelcome and ruined the remainder of my visit. While I understand concerns about pets or customer preferences, the aggressive delivery and lack of courtesy were disappointing, particularly from someone in a managerial role (who, incidentally, appeared to be off-duty and consuming alcoholic beverages at a table). That said, I would like to commend the waiter who served me—he was polite, attentive, and highly professional throughout, which stood in stark contrast to the earlier interaction. I hope this feedback is helpful in maintaining the high standards your café is capable of. I have enjoyed previous visits and would appreciate any steps taken to ensure staff handle such situations with greater professionalism and composure in the future. Visited with our dog, dog treats and bowl provided. Egg dish was nice but the pancakes were not the best, could have been better However the atmosphere was great.
Updated as absolute lies on the reply to this......arrived at 10:23 and waited outside until after 10:30, and then opened the gate as no one was opening it as my elderly parents (1 in a wheelchair) wanted to get settled. Asked if we could sit and the unbothered staff member said yes....not caring at all. And the tables were filthy. Would never go back, and please do share the video so everyone can see the lies. Absolutely shocking experience and didnt even get to eat. Turned up just before open on a Saturday for brunch. 10:30 passed and no one came out to open up. 10:35 passed and managed to actually open the gate to see if they were opening. Completely oblivious kid behind the bar (prepping) said yes, so we sat down. All the tables were horrible and dirty from the night before still and the place felt really unclean. Waited at the table and the kid didn't seem bothered about giving us menus or interacting with us in any way........just ignored us. Had to ask for menus and the table cleaned which he eventually did. Sat for another 5 minutes or more without being offered any drinks and feeling like we were invisible. Decided to just leave as it felt like a joke......kid behind the bar didn't say anything and didn't even look over to us as we left. Clearly dont care about serving, so went to the forest hotel instead and had a great breakfast. Would literally never ever go back to skogan
Loved it here, staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything we asked for. Food was amazing! With nice big portions and a fantastic price. Plenty of seating with an upstairs as well, that opens up into an outside eating area, will be fantastic for the summer!
