My husband has been suffered from missing repeated prescriptions from pharmacy for nearly 4 years. Both of us have felt exhausted to deal with the pharmacy back and forth, and they always claim that it’s the GP issue for not arranging part of/all repeated prescriptions delivery. Today they even said some repeated prescriptions had been suspended by GP. We have no clue what happened so went to Swanswell medical centre to check. Dawn, who works at the reception I can say she is an angel who has saved our life. She is really nice and helpful. She has tried all means to clarify with the pharmacy and also pointed out the mistakes made by the pharmacy. Finally my husband can get the outstanding medication. I want to express my gratitude here to Swanswell medical centre especially Dawn.
This is for the part-time doctors that diagnosed the state of my knees. (ADVISING THAT I DON'T PUT WEIGHT ON MY KNEES??) And for the orthopaedic "Specialists." What happened to humanity over extortionate prices made up prices for consultations? P.S. X-RAYS DO NOT SHOW SOFT TISSUE DAMAGE LIKE MY DESTROYED TENDONS AND LIGAMENTS. Experiencing multiple knee dislocations over 40 years typically results in chronic patellar instability and often leads to significant long-term issues, most notably the development of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. A single case report describes a patient with habitual dislocation for 40 years who was successfully treated with a combination of surgical procedures. Diagnosis: A thorough evaluation by an orthopedic specialist is essential, typically involving X-rays and an MRI, to determine the extent of the damage to ligaments, cartilage, and bone structure. P.S. THANK YOU DOCTOR SHERWOOD. YOU REALLY DID TRY YOUR BEDT EVEN THOUGH IVE NEVER MET YOU FACE TO FACE, IT BEING RIDICULOUS PHONE CALL APPOINTMENTS.
Both myself and my partner have been told by the surgery that we need an appointment with GP, if they want to see you they should book you in to see them. But no as usual we have to ring at 8.00 am to be told no appointments left. Terrible service.
Reception staff (not all) are rude, unhelpful and become defensive when you ask them questions. The information about the patient is on your system, read the notes when on the phone so you get the jest. I should not be having an argument about housebound patient (who apparently isn't house bound if the doctors ask to see her in the surgery... ). Sad because before this moment I had been praising the surgery.
After reading the reviews l was scared but my experience yesterday was extraordinary. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, got my 2 appointments very quick and she was cheerful. The physician who saw my kids on separate occasions Ms Balasubramaniam was extraordinary. She explained very well and all my questions answered,l walked in as a frightened mom but after leaving her room l was relieved and smiling,l felted supported 100% from the appointment call until l left their premises. Highly recommend this place.
