I can’t recommend this venue enough.
It was my daughter’s wedding on Saturday, and from start to finish the team couldn’t have done more for us. The venue itself is beautiful - set in the heart of the English countryside alongside a canal, where there’s always a flurry of narrowboats drifting by.
Our reception was held in the marquee, with a teepee and spacious patio providing wonderful areas for guests to relax and celebrate. The food was absolutely delicious, generous in quantity, and well presented.
We had some unusual requests to blend English traditions with Samoan 🇼🇸 and Italian 🇮🇹 influences, and The Boot not only embraced every idea but went above and beyond to make them happen. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble 😊
Every member of staff was impeccable - professional, friendly and incredibly accommodating throughout the day.
A special thank you to Kyle, who clearly leads his team exceptionally well. He is calm, highly organised, and seemed to have an eye on every detail, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
It was a truly spectacular day that we’ll never forget. Thank you all for making my daughter’s wedding so special 💫

Lovely meal here with friendly staff and some amazing food. We all had the Prix Fixe which was actually a bargain: 3 courses for £22.95. Great portion sizes as-well considering the price and its dog friendly. Definitely would recommend!

Had the 3 course set menu for 22.95 and it was outstanding value for the quality of food. Just a 3 min walk from the canal and back to our boat very full and happy!

Amazing lunch with friends recently. I've not been before, but will go back. Delicious food and wine options. Service was excellent too. Its not a "cheap" lunch, but you feel you are getting what you pay for here. The menu is not massive, so check online before you go if you are fussy.

Tried a Sunday lunch at this pub on the outskirts of Solihull last week. Was very busy due to a large function they were holding. Sunday roast was really good and plenty of it. Quite pricey but seems to be quite standard everywhere now. Would return if in the area.
