Absolutely dreadful experience. We visited today for lunch as a group of five, and it was honestly one of the most disappointing restaurant visits we have ever had.
The service was painfully slow from start to finish. We waited an unreasonable amount of time for our food, and there was no proper sense of urgency, care, or customer service. For a restaurant serving paying customers, the standard of service was completely unacceptable.
When the food finally arrived, it was a huge let-down. The chicken was extremely poor and appeared undercooked, which is a serious concern. The taste was also unpleasant — overwhelmingly spicy, excessively lemony, and completely unbalanced. It was not enjoyable at all and felt badly prepared.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was also disappointing. The place did not feel properly clean or well-maintained, which made the whole experience even worse. When you are eating out with family or friends, basic cleanliness, decent food, and acceptable service should be the minimum expectation.
Overall, this visit was a complete waste of money. We left feeling frustrated, dissatisfied, and genuinely regretful that we chose this restaurant. I honestly do not feel even one star is deserved, but unfortunately that is the lowest rating available.
Based on our experience today, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Poor service, poor food, questionable cleanliness, and no value for money.

In hindsight, Saturday evening was a bad time to go. The bar was very noisy and staff understandably stretched. This meant the service was lacking and we had to chase up missing sides.
The fillet of beef was delightful and there was nothing wrong with the children's sausage dinner. However, the "famous" chicken wings were really disappointing - covered in far too much sauce and bloody within. I mentioned this and pointed out the blood in every wing I'd bitten into but was promptly dismissed and told that wasn't possible as the wings were precooked. Left more than half on my plate.
I'd have gladly shared this feedback but at no point during or after the meal were we asked how it was. The answer? A mixture of delicious and inedible. Wife definitely won with her choice.

Lovely place right opposite the railway station. Had a lovely Sunday Brunch with beef roast as the main course. Service was excellent and the waitress took extra effort to take care of our needs. We spent about 3 hrs there and the place was packed. Highly recommended.

Recently moved to Dorridge and have been a few times. It seems to a local favourite, particularly on Sunny days. The service can be hit or miss. However, the food on a Sunday was very good, It was well cooked. As was the starters and Deserts. My only gripe is why is there inconsistency vs the midweek as the food midweek is very average compared to on Sunday, the produce also seemed to be different. As a example, the waffle for Desert was freshly made with a different recipe compared to breakfast.

Delicious chicken burger, not sure about the kimchi, though. It wasn't to my taste. Service was accommodating and efficient. Key lime pie was also delicious. Large portions. Would definitely come back.
