Fantastic night. Booked a table for 12 for dinner (60th party). Really great atmosphere and lovely pub / restaurant. The service was brilliant and the staff were brilliant. The food was 5 star, everyone enjoyed it. The total bill was also reasonable. Would recommend trying it as we had a wonderful night. The main waitress was perfect.

5⭐️ food, literally no complaints about the food it was stunning, and the service was amazing! The staff were so friendly and helpful and attentive to us! Thanks guys. Only negative would be I think it’s ridiculously over priced, I think it’s ridiculous to charge people what the food costs especially when it’s quite small portions (take the fish and chips for example - £22) other than that - the food and service is incredible. Thanks for a great evening. Side note - the garlic aioli dip? Best I’ve ever had. Highly recommend, and the bread and butter pudding! Exquisite. I will be dreaming about that one!

I was visiting as a solo traveller and I enjoyed a truly outstanding meal here.
I had the special crispy beef Chinese style to start. I have always enjoyed this dish in the past but these days most versions of it have changed. This version was absolutely spot on and was served with a fresh accompanying salad.
For main I had a truly outstanding pork belly which was well flavoured and incredibly tender. Initially I thought the knife must have been super sharp but the meat was so moist and tender, it could have been cut with a spoon. Yet it still had a light crispy crackling. Quite a culinarily achievement!
I then had a fantastic roasted coconut topped jam sponge served with absolutely heavenly home cooked custard.
Even the coffee to finish was very high quality.
The service staff were also wonderful and the ambience and decoration attractive and pleasant.

A delicious, perfectly balanced lunch using high quality ingredients. The service was excellent and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Overall, a very positive experience. We look forward to our next visit!

Really liked this gastro pub, not too fancy but food was excellent. The waitress who looked after us was very down to earth and joined in on our birthday singing, as did the other tables next to us. I particularly enjoyed the monkfish and prawn skewers as a starter.
