Wagamamas is, and as far as I've known it always has been a good quality restaurant serving many types of East Asian cuisine.
It's an absolute must-visit place if you're looking for this, serving a huge range of traditional Japanese, Chinese and Korean dishes, as well as consistently updating the menu with new items. My brother and I have a habit of visiting every month at a minimum simply just to sample the new products.
Service is simple, you get allocated a table at the door, then order through the staff when you're ready and pay online by scanning a QR code on the table. Simple as that. The staff are also super friendly and very helpful with queries or concerns.
It's in an ideal location in Touchwood shopping centre, right opposite the cinema. If you've never tried Wagamamas, are curious about it and want to try something new, or want to eat high quality, reasonably priced East Asian cuisine, Wagamama's is certainly the place for you.

There was a bit of a wait when we arrived however we didn’t have to wait around for long. Our server was so lovely, super helpful and very friendly with my two kids. The food was spot on. I’d defo visit again!

Fancied a change on this visit to Solihull, so gave Wagamama a go. Was seen and taken to my seat very quickly and courteously by one of the servers, and then had my order taken by my server, Mohammed. I did end up getting my main order served before my side dish, but Mohammed went and mentioned this to the waiters and I ended up eating both at the same time.
The broccoli 🥦 served with a special sauce was much tastier than I imagined, and the main dish was quite an experience. It was an authentic oriental dining experience, having to use chopsticks 🥢 and embarrassingly I had to ask for help from Mohammed using them, but he pointed out there was also the option of a fork and spoon 🥄. But I ended up looking worse than a four year old with a bib getting all this soupy/watery stuff that came with the pasta 🍝 and vegetables that were served with my chicken 🐔 all over me.
The food itself was very tasty and satisfying though, and all the better they allowed me to pay with cash, which all came at a very reasonable £33.50. I will definitely go again, maybe not next time, but thanks for a different eating experience.

Had a lovely time. Dagmara was so lovely and professional she works in the touchwood branch and absolutely deserves a promotion. She was so polite, helpful and knowledgeable whilst showing us recommendations. Only disappointment is lemon and ginger tea is no longer on the menu PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!

Me and my son went for dinner today. Experienced Very poor service and staff behaviour. They brought my son’s order and took 15 minutes for my order. For god sake learn 101 of hotel industry. People are not going together to eat one after another😆😆. On the top of it My son’s order came without the sauce he ordered. when we Asked for glass of water, waiter started doing the table cleaning and disappeared for almost 15 minutes. - Ridiculous staff tonight and manager was even more ridiculous. Normally this place has a decent staff. Today was big disappointment. Pls get rid of these lazy bunch …
