Hello guys, it was my first time attending this healthcare Centre last week and the experience was absolutely amazing. The girl on the reception desk was extremely professional, polite and knowledgeable. The customer service was excellent. I just wish I knew her name I could’ve given her a shout out. I came in to see Dr Harjeevan GILL Regarding a sick note for my workplace, he dealt with it professionally and efficiently and helped me more than he needed to. Amazing customer service by everyone at this healthcare Centre, keep it up guys you are doing a great job for everyone.
Overall the GP’s are good at this surgery. However some of the reception staff have no communication skills and a disgusting telephone manner. Particularly Mandy who speaks to patients as if Yardley Wood Health Centre was passed down through her bloodline and she holds the key to all the medical files in the land. She should learn how to fix her tone when speaking to patients in distress. It’s 2026. Do better! If patients are to be told how they speak to staff matters then it should worth both ways. You’re a receptionist, not a scholar. Kelly however is always sweet and amazing to deal with. Mandy, be more like Kelly.
I went to see Fulak on Saturday for an injection and she was absolutely brilliant. I’ve been using YWHC for years and she is truly a credit to the team. Professional, kind, and made the whole experience feel easy and reassuring. A real asset to the clinic!
Walked in and enquired about travel vaccinations, had them done by a lovely lady called Viv. So polite & patient really made me feel at ease - would absolutely recommend!
If you are thinking of using this surgery, please take all the reviews into account, with the understanding that no matter where you go, whether a restaurant, takeaway, theme park, hotel etc etc (you get the idea) EVERYONE will always have a different experience every time they go. Having been with the surgery for a while now I can confirm that whenever I've needed them they've always been absolutely fantastic! If you've got a bit of a sniffy nose or the trots and you are trying to get an urgent appointment then you might have to wait a while but if you need urgent care then I have found them to be insanely fast at getting me an appointment. Sometimes within a couple of hours and other times sending me a link to choose a day and time. Unthinkable with any other surgery I have ever used. I always greet everyone that works at the Yardley Wood Health Centre with a smile and a cheery disposition, and they always respond in kind. Please remember everyone that if someone is having a bad day (and yes the people that work there have them too) then show some kindness and understanding and you will usually get it back. It's very hard to be grumpy with someone who's being really positive, polite and nice. Try it! I've been so impressed with this surgery and their online appointment booking system that I've now filled out a new patient form (online) for my daughter. My wife will also be switching to this surgery very soon. Surgery this is to you.... Please keep up your great work, patient care and keep smiling because you are fab!
