Very poor.
Service slow and unhelpful
Roast dinner would not be served to my dog and the chef should be embarrassed to allow it to leave the kitchen.
Meal was refunded but we were charged £7 for two soft drinks that would not have been purchased had we not visited the pub to eat.
Could not fill out the section below of which food you would recommend as I would not recommend visiting here.

Lovely pub in a nice setting but food was not the standard expected for the price. Ordered steak medium and it came well done, was a bit chewy. Came with half a mushroom which feels like penny pinching for a £24 meal. No one came back to check on us. Would come back for a drink only

Came here for my Sister’s birthday. It was a good time. Very busy restaurant.
I ordered a award winning steak pie. It wasn’t on the menu but I saw it on the website and asked if they had it and they did. It was really good. Pastry was lovely.
I also had pate with toasted bread. Very nice.
I had a passion fruit mocktail. It came with a shot and I didn’t know what it was. It was procecco. The manager said it was 0% alcohol Prosecco.
The ceiling is very low so be careful if you’re tall.
We also had a 40% off main course after signing up on the website.

Visited for dinner and had a fantastic meal. The food arrived piping hot, and we ordered the pie and the steak. Both were cooked perfectly, and the chips were especially delicious. The portion of vegetables was generous too.
The service was prompt, professional, and friendly. A special thank you to our server, Alex, for making our visit even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

George and Sarah are wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The food was excellent but the service and lovely conversation will keep us coming back. We ordered the veggie burger and extra fries and 3 glasses of Merlot wine. Thank you so much, Sharan xxx
