A genuinely excellent experience with Gaynor Ashley today.
I attended for my NHS Health Check and Gaynor was exceptionally helpful, professional and caring throughout the whole appointment.
I had a separate blood-test request following a recent gout flare, but the uric acid test had not been included with my Health Check blood tests. Gaynor noticed this and immediately arranged to add the uric acid test, which saved me from having to come back for a second blood test. I really appreciated how proactive and thoughtful she was.
She also took the time to explain the purpose of the NHS Health Check, talked me through my measurements including blood pressure, BMI and waist measurement, and clearly explained my cardiovascular risk score and what it meant.
The whole appointment was smooth, informative and reassuring, with virtually no waiting. This was NHS care at its very best. Thank you so much, Gaynor - you genuinely made my day.

A lot has improved in recent years. Previously, I had given GPS a one star review however this year I have seen a marked improvement. Dr Khan is incredibly kind and patient. Dr Broom was wonderful when we had queries over our disabled daughter’s symptoms and listened to me. Dr Kirby was reassuring when a test result came back unclear. Reception staff at Yew Tree and Knowle are eager to help. Overall, GPS has definitely improved and we are happy with their care.

Thank you Nurse Gillian Littlebury! I had my first ever smear due since the end of last year… I put this off until April of this year. Nurse Littlebury who carried out my first ever smear test, was absolutely fantastic, she knew I was a little nervous and did everything she could to put me at ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first smear. I now feel a lot less apprehensive coming in for my next smear. Nurse Gillian Littlebury is a true asset to this surgery, I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves!!!! Thank you, please don’t stop being you, you are what makes patients feel seen and heard.

Saw Ashley Gaynor for B12 injection. She was exceptional. This was the first time I have seen her and would book to see her again
