Absolutely lovely food, some options you won’t find elsewhere such as drinks with gelato in, or a massive amount of candyfloss with a dessert. I’m a dessert person but I love the starters here. Server was nice, service was quick. The only downside is the ‘optional’ 10% tip for tables less than 6 people (it states on the menu it’s only automatically added for tables of 6 or more) was automatically added which is very cheeky.
We visited Zizzi on Poplar Road in Solihull. Great interior and very spacious. Comfortable seating in a vibrant setting. The menu is vast. The food was excellent! Better than Michelin Star restaurants in the city. Each course was piping hot and freshly cooked by the wonderful chef. The flavour and ingredients came through each dish. High quality cooking on every dish we ordered. Very impressed! Cherri, our lovely waitress was very polite, friendly and knew her menu. She made us feel welcomed and brightened our visit with her lovely personality. Thank You for a great experience at your restaurant. Will definitely be coming again very soon. This restaurant accepts Tastecard. Well worth a visit.
Haven't visited here in a very long time but we visited to use up Tesco vouchers. Bridget ensured our visit was enjoyable and was very attentive. Although Zizzi would not be our normal choice, as we try to support independents, we would come back again in the future to use Tesco vouchers for sure. Thanks for a nice evening.
Fantastic food, Great service by the 2 young ladies who served us.. well done chefs for the amazing tasty foods.. love the new menu item please don’t change them 😋 see you all again very soon ❤️
We had booked for 19:30, ordered by 19:45 but still didn’t get any starters until 20:45. The food took appallingly long to come out. We also had a diabetic with us, who thankfully didn’t give herself the insulin like she would normally in anticipation, but had she done that it could have become a very dangerous situation very quickly, maybe a warning from staff is needed about how long food is taking? I understand it was a busy Saturday night but the back of house team were slow and were too busy for the amount of staff they had (takeaways seemed to be taking precedence over people there in house?). I do want to say that the front of house team did an amazing job at dealing with this, and this is not a reflection on them at all. After I went and expressed how long the food was taking, they went above and beyond to make us comfortable when the chefs were letting them down with speed of food coming out, and it’s a shame that they have to deal with the consequences. The food was nice when it came out but it was dampened by how hungry we were!
